Last weekend, Auntie N took us to the shore. The water was much colder than I expected and the waves were a little frigthening to Parker, but he LOVED the beach. The first thing he did when I set him down was start digging. And then he ate some sand. And then some more and then more and more and more. And finally started crawling around. I think he liked how soft it was after skinning his knees on the cement at home. We couldn't stay long because it started to rain. But we ended up in a park for lunch and he got to swing for the first time. He had a great day even if we got stuck in traffic for FIVE long hours on the way home. He did wonderfully so I'm hoping the plane trip home next month will go smoothly.
