Missing Home

I've been missing home a lot lately. I called my sister and another friend during the first day of the Salinas Valley Fair and started crying after I hung up. I wanted to be there so badly and I've rarely gone to that fair! But I have been to so many in CA. Like the one I dragged Krystal to in King City. She was so scared of the pigs. Heh. That still makes me laugh how she jumped when one grunted at me. I know it has to do with my trip home next month. I am just aching for home. I want to show my son the beach there and walk around on that mall with all the weirdos that drove me crazy when I lived/worked there. But now I look back on it all and realize just how lucky I was to grow up in a place like that. And I want my son to know those places too.
